Commuting from South Ruislip station or along the A40, you cannot always spare the car for a day, so ask us about collection and a courtesy car.
Plenty of people in this part of Hillingdon borough use the car and the train in the same week, and the car is usually the one that gets neglected. A service slips, a noise gets ignored, and eventually something fails at a bad moment.
We try to make the garage visit less of a burden. With a service or repair booking, we offer free collection and may be able to lend a courtesy car. Neither is certain, because both are subject to availability, eligibility and booking conditions. What we promise is a straight answer when you ask, and a clear estimate before any repair begins.
The car is collected from your address, taken to our Hayes workshop and inspected. We then explain what we found, recommend the work and give you an estimate before anything is done. Once the job is finished, arrangements are made to return it. Free collection is there for people who have no easy way to get the car to us, perhaps because they commute, work long hours or do not want to drive a car with a warning light. Ask early, as availability is limited.
Sometimes, and it depends on what is free at the time your car is in. A courtesy car keeps your commute and household errands going if the repair is a long one. It is not part of every job, and a simple service rarely needs it. Tell us how much you rely on the car, and how long you think you can manage without it. We will let you know what is realistic, along with any conditions on its use.
Ring with your registration and a brief description, then ask: does my address qualify for collection, can I have a courtesy car, which conditions apply, and when and how will my own car be returned? If you are leaving the car outside the house, check who will hand over the keys. Mention whether you need the car back before a particular commitment, though we can only say what depends on the work and parts. Write down our answers.
South Ruislip is a residential area in Hillingdon borough beside the A40 and the railway station, with mostly 1930s and post-war housing. Our garage is at Chesterfield Way, Hayes, UB3 3NW. We work with drivers from Northolt, Greenford and Hillingdon as well, and the same approach applies: tell us the problem, and we will check whether collection and a courtesy car can be arranged. You are always welcome to bring the car in yourself.
We also help drivers with vehicle collection and courtesy car from nearby Northolt, Greenford, Hillingdon, and the garage in Hayes is the base for all of it.

We will try, but collection depends on availability, eligibility and booking conditions. Tell us when someone can hand over the keys and when you need the car back, and we will explain what is possible.
No. They are subject to availability and are not promised with every job. Asking when you book, and saying how long the car might be off the road, gives us more chance of helping.
Before any repair starts we explain what we found, recommend the work and give you a clear estimate. If something else turns up during the job, we tell you and ask before doing anything extra.
