We arrange to pick up the vehicle for a service or repair, and arrange its return afterwards. It is not available on every booking, so ask at the start. Mention anything unusual, such as a tight parking space, a car that struggles to start, or a student house with several cars outside, because it may affect how the pickup can be planned.
With a courtesy car, the repair does not have to stop you getting to work or lectures. They are provided subject to availability, so we cannot promise one on every job and some days simply have none free. Ask when you book what is likely, what documents you need to bring and what the rules of use are. If your driving is mostly short town trips, almost any car will do. If you rely on the motorway, tell us that as well.
Four questions cover most of it: is collection possible for this car and this job, is a courtesy car likely, what booking conditions apply, and how does the car come back? We will explain the fault, recommend the work and give a clear estimate before repairs begin. Nothing should be started that you have not agreed. Write the answers down, particularly dates, because collection and courtesy car slots depend on what else is in the workshop that week.
