It depends on the vehicle and how you use it. Give us the registration or the make, model and year, and tell us whether you mostly do town driving, motorway miles, towing or spirited driving. We will recommend a suitable pad, explain the trade-offs and supply and fit it for you.
Not always. If the discs are in good condition and above their minimum thickness, new pads alone can be fine. If they are scored, lipped, warped or close to the limit, fitting new pads on them wears the pads quickly and can cause vibration. We measure and show you before recommending.
Sometimes, but not automatically. If you tow, carry heavy loads or drive hard, a different pad or disc can make sense. For normal commuting, good quality like-for-like parts are often the sensible choice. We will give you a straight answer on which applies to your vehicle.
