If your discs are worn, warped or scored, we can supply and fit EBC brake discs for your car, van or 4x4, and explain the choices before any work starts.
Brake discs do a hard, hot job every time you slow down, and they do not last for ever. A pulsing pedal, a groove you can feel with a fingernail or a lip around the outer edge are all signs the discs may need attention, ideally before the pads wear into them.
MTS Garage Services fits and supplies EBC brakes and accessories, including EBC brake discs in Hayes, for cars, vans, 4x4s and motorbikes. We are not an official EBC dealer, we simply fit the brand our customers ask about. Drivers from Southall, Uxbridge and Hounslow are welcome to call us.

Discs wear from the surface and from the edges. Look out for vibration through the steering wheel or pedal when braking, a scraping or grinding noise, visible scoring, a raised rim on the outside of the disc, or blue-tinted patches that suggest overheating. Every disc has a minimum thickness, and once it is reached it should not stay on the car. We measure rather than judge by eye. Discs are normally replaced in pairs across an axle so that braking stays even, and it makes sense to fit fresh pads at the same time, since new pads on tired discs do not bed in properly.
EBC makes more than one style of disc, and the right one depends on the vehicle and how it is used. Here is what we talk through with you.
We remove the wheels, inspect the calipers, slides, hoses and hubs, and clean the mounting faces so the new discs sit true. Seized sliders or a sticking caliper are a common cause of uneven wear, so we check those rather than simply bolting on new parts. New discs are fitted with pads, the pedal is pumped up and the brakes are tested. We will mention anything we find, such as old brake fluid or a worn flexible hose, but we will not do extra work without your agreement. Final cost depends on the vehicle, the discs chosen and whether other parts need attention.
Tell us the make, model and year when you call or message, and anything you have noticed while braking. If you have a particular EBC disc in mind, mention it and we will check it suits the vehicle. We will give you an estimate before starting. It is worth reading about our brake pad and disc replacement service, EBC brake pads, brake fluid replacement and motorcycle EBC brakes pages too, as they cover the parts that tend to be done alongside discs.

In almost every case, yes. Replacing one side leaves uneven braking, which can pull the car to one side. Fitting a matching pair keeps the braking balanced and the wear consistent. Pads are normally renewed at the same time.
Yes. We supply and fit EBC brakes for cars, vans, 4x4s and motorbikes. Heavier vehicles and those that tow put more strain on the brakes, so we discuss how the vehicle is used before suggesting a particular disc.
It often points to uneven or distorted discs, though a sticking caliper or worn suspension part can cause similar symptoms. We inspect the whole brake assembly so we fix the cause rather than just changing discs.
Yes, a short period of gentle driving helps new pads and discs bed together. Avoid hard stops where possible for the first stretch of driving. We will give you specific advice for your vehicle when you collect it.
